Description:  This bike rack sculpture was inspired by the plants seen alongside nearby Lady Bird Lake. Two vertical steel “stems” rise up from the sidewalk, each ending in a singular leaf. Funding for the bike racks was provided by the Downtown Austin Alliance, Thomas Properties Group, and 816 Congress, as a creative way to support arts and mobility as well as attract visitors along the Congress Avenue corridor.
