Description:  This earthwork, located in a storm water detention area near the EMS parking lot, is intended to provide a contemplative respite for facility staff and visitors as well as an opportunity for environmental education. The 30-foot-diameter circle is formed with karst limestone salvaged from the site during construction of the building. The interior of the circle is planted with bushy bluestem, a native grass that thrives in natural burn conditions and takes on a salmon-orange after the first frost.
