Description:  Friends is a 2011 painted collage by India Cruse-Griffin. The work depicts two girls holding flowers in front of a row of houses. The work is made from collaged paper that has been overpainted to create the image. This work measures 11.25 by 21.25 inches framed and is currently on display in the 3rd Floor Surgery Registration Waiting Lobby of the Eskenazi Hospital Building. The world of India Cruse-fin’s work encompasses strong women, rural and urban settings and the joy of living day-to-day. Her paint-and-paper collages inspire through their simplicity and directness, the layers expressing the textures of experience her characters have accumulated.
