Description:  This mural, behind the Utah Supreme Court Bench, uses a landscape form derived from the southern Utah deserts that embodies a quiet muffled balance of stability, hope and endurance. Snow described a hiking trip to Capital Reef, a sudden thunderstorm, and then the emergence of the intense sun and heat, forcing steam to rise from the wet sandstone.
