Description:  Bait Box was inspired by the artist's experiences noodling (catching catfish by hand) in Oklahoma. The giant catfish honors the folklore surrounding “monster” catfish and the rare individuals who pursue these “fat cats.” Displayed on a "high voltage box" near Lady Bird Lake, the artwork provides an opportunity for the public to invent their own fish stories. The work was selected for Americans for the Arts, Public Art Network, Year in Review 2010. Texas Biennial 2009 Temporary Public Art
