Description:  Arboreal Passage consists of two archways, three benches and a double-faced sign at the entrance to the Austin Nature and Science Center. The main archway contains six forged steel trees with extensive root systems that wrap onto limestone boulders. Centered among the branches is a forged bronze plaque with an owl face--an homage to the rescued owls that are a prominent feature of the center. Additionally, stylized forged-copper leaves of native tree species "grow" from the branches overhead.
