Iowa Art in State Buildings Program

Art in State Buildings brings art into the universities and public buildings where Iowans study, work, visit and live. For more than 35 years, the program has provided students and educators, artists and the citizens of Iowa with opportunities to select, study, create and enjoy public artworks. Iowa's collection is concentrated on the campuses of the three State universities: the University of Northern Iowa, the University of Iowa and Iowa State University. More than 220,000 people experience art at Iowa's public universities each year, while annually another 1300 Iowa students are served through tours and art-integrated curriculum.
